Sympany: Autonomous sorting with AI for a circular textile chain

Within the S3ORTED initiative, we are developing AI that autonomously makes sorting decisions for the reuse and recycling of textiles. We do this for both mechanical and chemical recycling. Using vision and sensor technology, we recognize garments, materials, their condition and link that information directly to the appropriate processing route. This makes sorting faster, more accurate and scalable. Through machine learning, our models improve themselves, so that each sorting decision provides more knowledge and precision than the previous one.
